Yes, I admit it... I'm a cheater... A BIG cheater. And I've been a bad boy! And I cheat once a week. I almost have an orgasm everytime this day comes my way! I really can't hold back my excitement! And I'm talking about the "other" real pleasure in life... FOOD!!! It's Cheat Meal Day (CMD)! My day starts off like any other day, with a healthy, balanced breakfast followed by other healthy meals that are spaced out perfectly UNTIL 7:30PM on Wednesday. This is where it all begins! The meal that I look forward to all week long (well the past 6 days) and it starts with figuring out who will join me at my favorite restaurant, WonJo. It's like a celebration every single time!
What make the cheat meal day so exciting is of course the fact that I get to eat like a pig for this one meal and feel "normal" again. But it's the combination of amazing food, friends, the restaurant and the anticipation. I literally count down my days and meals because I'm VERY religious about keeping my diet clean. The wonderful thing about a cheat meal is not just pleasing your palette BUT has magical effects on your body and metabolism!
Your body will thank you when you eat something out of your diet that has more fat and carbs. And you'll also be quenching the hunger for delicious food. Your body will also be shocked thinking "what the hell is going on here? Sean, what are you putting into your mouth and what am I supposed to do with it!" and your body will need to kick up the gear to digest AND will have your body guessing what you'll be feeding it next.
So GO and enjoy that favorite meal/dish but remember you NEVER should feel guilty afterwards if you're going to indulge yourself. Just sit and enjoy that big mac and fries or Korean BBQ on a day/meal of your choice!
